Since the creation of the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP), ACS has helped states with SCHIP program design and provides program implementation and operations support. We help clients with provider and member services, application intake and eligibility determination, enrollment processing, cost-sharing determination and tracking, premium collections, and call center operations.
ACS was one of the first companies to obtain an Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnosis and Treatment (EPSDT) oversight and administration project. Over the years, ACS has helped states consistently exceed screening requirements established by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). ACS' responsibilities related to EPSDT programs include: recipient outreach and linkages; screening administration and service coordination; program monitoring; quality assurance and provider certification; and data compilation and report generation. Additionally, ACS has developed a fully Web-based statewide immunization information system to assist our clients in managing immunization registries that measure immunization rates and targets for improvement.
