Pharmacy Benefits Management

ACS is the nation's largest government program pharmacy benefits administrator, serving 32 programs in 26 states and the District of Columbia with drug expenditures totaling over $14 billion. We provide point-of-service (POS) claims processing services and clinical management programs to commercial HMOs and other managed care organizations, state Medicaid agencies, insurance administrators, self-insured employer groups, state employee benefit programs, and worker's compensation programs, as well as senior drug programs. In addition to POS and batch claims processing, ACS offers enrollment and eligibility administration, imaging and document management, retrospective drug utilization review and other clinical initiatives such as decision support (ad hoc reporting and data analysis), case management, and rebate administration.

Our clinicians have developed the most comprehensive and integrated, yet uncomplicated, approach to solving the problems in the prescribing and utilization of pharmacy products.
